Metrics and usage

Dash provides real-time visibility into application performance and resource usage.

Metrics are available for each application within a Space, helping you understand how services behave and how resources respond under different conditions.

Available Metrics

Dash tracks the core signals of system health:

• Latency: How long requests take to be processed

• Errors: The percentage of failed requests

• Network: Incoming and outgoing traffic volume

• Resource usage: Percentage of CPU and memory consumed

These indicators give developers clear insights into both application reliability and infrastructure efficiency.

Time Range

Metrics display data from the last hour, allowing you to quickly identify spikes, failures, or unusual patterns in recent activity.

Visualization

All data is presented as interactive charts with animations. Hover over any point to inspect values at a specific moment, making it simple to trace performance changes over time.

This makes it easy to:

• Spot performance issues early

• Understand resource consumption

• Compare application behavior across services

How to view metrics

1. Open your Space and select the application you want to review.

2. Go to Metrics in the application view.

3. Scan the charts for latency, errors, network, CPU, and memory.

4. Hover on the timeline to inspect values at a specific moment.

5. Compare signals to relate errors or latency with resource usage and traffic.
